Hi!

I'm Paola, and I recently completed my Master's in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics in Munich. This fall, I will be starting my PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Physics, supervised by Prof. Dr. Johannes Henn and Prof. Dr. Lorenzo Tancredi, working on surfaceology.

More broadly, my research interests center on the mathematical structure of scattering amplitudes, as well as their phenomenological applications, in particular on (late-time) cosmology.

Here I also collect various notes and resources that I have kept and found particularly useful along the way, in case you want to check them out!

My updated CV is also available here.

Education

  • BSc in Physics, University of Trento
  • MSc in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics (TMP), LMU & TUM Munich
  • PhD, starting autumn 2026, Max Planck Institute for Physics — supervised by Prof. Dr. Johannes Henn, co-supervised by Prof. Lorenzo Tancredi

Research Interests

Broadly, I am interested in scattering amplitudes and Feynman integrals. On one side, cosmology and the EFT of Large-Scale Structure, where I work on higher-loop corrections — my Master's thesis is on the two-loop matter power spectrum. On the other, more formal aspects of scattering amplitudes, in particular positive geometries and surfaceology, which I'm looking forward to exploring further during my PhD.
